Hey Earl, did you say the 3 Mouseateers and if so is Annet Fullofjello still around? The Mickey Mouse Club was always one of my favorites. Now you say we are going to be Mouseateers, wow. And no tights for me either. Last time I was at the pool, some kids kept shouting "Free Willie." Soooo I am afraid if I would put those things on, they probably would yell "Beached Whale." Beside why do you think they call them Tights. Eeker No way Jose. Now if we can wear "baggies", they are comfortable. (That is Baggies Pants, ladies.)

Lloyd...When I read your response to my how do you like me now comment I about died laughing. Big Grin That was a good one. I am also glad that you mentioned that this was all in fun. I don't want anyone to think that we were being mean spirited. I knew you all would take it well due to your good sense of humor and you all are such good sports! Smiler

Mike... BRING IT ON!!! LOL. I should say that you don't get to pick on me the whole month though since it is almost half over. You must enjoy pain if having the hammer taken to you feels good!!!! Eeker I'll keep my other comment to myself. Wink Also FYI I don't dress my dog like a wuss. You should see what some people put on their pets, and he doesn't wear them all the time, just every once in a while. Razzer I think the reason my parents told me they are moving is so that they would have another "lacky" to box thier stuff up and move things into the garage. But now that my toes and part of my foot is fractured again I can't do that! What a shame!! Frowner I am sure my mom will find a sit down job for me though. Roll Eyes Oh well it gives me more time to spend with them before they leave. Smiler

Earl...are you sure you want to get mixed up with these two characters? You seem like such a nice man, I would hate to see you be corrupted. LOL. Roll Eyes

Ladies did you notice that the boys invented a club where they can stick together? I guess if they get into trouble with their wives or one of us they need to go running to each other! Roll Eyes My my, that is interesting.

Now boys I think you should do the tights. You could wear the hats with the feathers on them like the Three Muskateers. Wouldn't that be cute?? Wink Be sure to post the pictures of you all on here so we can see how you look. Eeker Or are you going to do the baggy pants like Lloyd suggested? If you do that be sure that you sag them so that all can see the boxers you're wearing. If you go commando or wear bikinis please keep your pants up!!!! Eeker Eeker

So I am anxious to see what you have to pick on me about next. I enjoy a good challenge.

BTW has anyone heard from Miss Joanie? I haven't seen her on here for a while. Hope she is ok.

Take care all and I hope you have a great weekend coming up. Big Grin

Hope this post finds everyone doing well, and looking forward to their weekend.

Nicki - I have also been wondering about Joanie, and hoping that Charlie is hanging in with his new job. I had hoped to catch her in chat last night, but if she was on, it was not at the same time I was chatting.

Micheal - good talking w/you last night, I have missed you!

Well, I have FINALLY finished mowing the lawn and pulling a nuisance vine/weed from the fences where it tends to grow through the links and crawl along the length of the fence. I even edged, not something which is a priority to me. 4 hours yesterday and 3-1/2 hours today, ain't no wonder I'd rather work 7 days a week!

I was fortunate though as yesterday I called my Uncle and begged him to come by and see if he could help me fix our DR Trimmer/Mower. Last time I went to use it the starter rope had rotted through and broke off with the first pull. I went to Home Depot and got a new rope and handle, but then discovered that I couldn't remove the coverplate with an allen wrench as I thought. Yesterday I contacted the company and found out that it was attached with rivets and had to be drilled out. Thank goodness my Uncle came by and we spent a good hour this morning replacing the started rope and cleaning up the mower.

Because I had been rather lax lately in mowing the lawn, it was 6-8" high in some areas and using the trimmer/mower instead of the mulching mower is much quicker and less work.

I wasn't sure I'd be able to finish the job today since it looked like it was going to rain most of the day, but fortunately that held off until about 15 minutes ago.

Now I think I am going to put something on my poor, blistered hands and take a much deserved nap!

My thought exactly, but I can't answer that question Mikey. And when their tech department told me that and I commented "that's pretty stupid, don't you think?", the guy had no response for me. Roll Eyes

I was able to talk to Joanie on the phone yesterday. She is hangin in there.

So Nicki, your a boxer person. You never did say, did your parents tell you where they were moving to?

Maybe the three of us should get together and go out wearing the tights. We could bring a lot of laughter to the world. But I have to draw the line there. No hat with a big feather hangin off the back of it. My wrists are to strong for anything like that.

Mindy...why would they rivet on something on that they know will have to be taken off. I enjoyed our little chat last night also. Sorry I cut it short. Its been a busy week at work, 65 hours in 5 days.

To the rest of the family, thanks for putting up with our joking around. I feel that we should have fun. The world is in such a mess a person needs some place to go to get away from that mess.

I know, I know, Mindy, it was a non-rotting rope on a non-removeable cover, so therefore it must have been defected, so they should give you a new one. Big Grin

Uh, Mike where did you get the idea that I wear boxers?? Confused When I was talking about the baggy pants Lloyd mentioned I was refering to how some guys wear thier pants down so low you can see thier boxer shorts. ( I never understood how that was supposed to be attractive??) As for what I wear it's a secret and only I know!! Wink(ok the people at the laundry mat I go to know too. Roll Eyes) Yes my parents did tell me where they are moving too. My mom made me hold on to the promise that I was going to call her often and visit on holidays. They are only going to be 5 to 6 hours away. You should definetly wear the tights, and it the hat is not going to work for you then forget it.

Mindy, I believe that I would have asked the tech department guy the same thing. Why in thw world would they put that together that way. They must have some real geniuses working there! Can we say DUH!!! LOL. Glad your uncle was able to help you out.

My sister and I went cruising around for a while tonight in her new car. She bought a new Chevy Impala and it is really nice and has all of the cool features in it. I sat in the back for a couple of minutes to see what it was like back there and I felt like I should have had a pair of handcuffs on!! (get your mind out of the gutter Mike!!!! Roll Eyes) The local police department here drives them. I should mention that I have never been arrested or anything like that. I am a innocent flower. WinkI can't wait until I can afford to get a newer car. I want one that's all pimped out. Big Grin
Well I hope all is well with you all and that you are somewhat behaving (except Mike, Lloyd, and Earl)
Take care, Smiler

Thank you all. We will get over this and get our property damages repaired soon. We just have to move forward when unexpected things happen.

Alix,
Have fun in New Jersey! You will love it there; it's a beautiful place. I'm happy to be teaching again. I'm getting request calls everyday but I need to give my sitter (Mom) a break so she won't wear out on me. LOL Three days of work a week will have to do for now. I know our schedules are not meshing well online lately but we'll connect soon. Know that I think about you all often and hope all is well for you and your family.

Linda,
I'm sorry to hear about your car wreck. I hope you can get it repaired soon. I know how indispensable our vehicles are.

Deb,
I hope you start feeling better and get rid of that neck pain. Prayers for you.

Debby,
Hope you're feeling better. I'm praying for you for better health.

Mindy,
I could use your help in my garden! LOL I'm waiting for cooler weather so I can go out there and work on the garden and pull the weeds.

Mike,
HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! Hope you enjoy your day. Any plans?

Got to run now. My little chef is awake and ready to make breakfast. My son, Justin, is determined to learn all the ropes to cooking. LOL He wants to be restaurant owner one day. Talk to you all soon. Hugs,

Dina

Dina...no plans for Monday except start working at 6 AM and work for 13 1/2 hours if every thing goes like it has been going. So when I get home and cleaned up I'm lucky to have enough time to eat.

Joanie...hope the sinuses are getting better.

Nicki...I didn't mean that you wear boxers. I ment that you like men that show off there boxers. Does Pedro have a pair?

Lloyd...hope you and Miss Tommie are doing well. Did Miss Tommie ever get recharged?

Earl...glad to hear that things are going better for you and the wife.

It's almost 2:30 am and I am still up. I have not been sleeping well again. I have to get up in less than 5 hours and I am debating whether I should go to bed or just stay up!!!

I changed somethings on my profile and I just wanted to see if it worked. If it has worked then you would know that my new screen name is Snickers. Not only is it one of favorite candy bar, but my friends call me that because I laugh a lot. Roll Eyes

I see what you mean now Mike. Somehow I thought you meant that I like to wear boxers because you asked if I was a boxer person. I like boxer shorts, however I don't think one should sag their pants for all to see their skivies! Eeker Boxerbriefs work too. Red Face BTW Pedro doesn't wear boxers or any other kind of undies. Razzer So your b-day is Monday. Well, I would like to wish you an early HAPPY BIRTHDAY then. Is your family taking you out for dinner on Sunday since you're working all day Monday? How old are you according to Lloyds math? My guess is you'll be pretty old no matter if you do Lloyds math or not!!!! Wink LOL.

You all should try the new chatroom. I talked with Sage for a while lastnight. I had just missed someone new and I missed Mike. Sage said that Lloyd wasn't able to get on. If my computer worked better I would love to be able to moderate the room. That way if anyone comes on there would be someone else in there to chat with. I think the new room is pretty nice. Big Grin

Well I better go check on my chicken. I have it boiling right now so I don't have to get up too early in the morning to do it. I'm making King Ranch Chicken for a potluck after church tomorrow. Pedro knows what I am doing and he has been watching with intense interest because he knows that he will get a couple of pieces when it's finished and cooled off. BTW, I posted the recipe for the King Ranch Chicken under ethnic if anyone is interested.

Take care ya'all and I holler at ya later. Big Grin

Good Morning Family, Heyyyyyyys Snickersss, is that like "Kehehehe" or "Tehehehe"? And in reply to the shorts, as the Mexican Bandit said to Richard Boone in one of his Movies "BOXERS! Who needs stinking boxers!" Oooooppps, come to think of it he might have said "badges." Oh well. And I did try the chat room and kept getting this little black box and done at the bottom of the page. Will try again, Give me a time or near a time ya'll will be there.
Dina, Lovvvvvvvve King's Ranch Chicken. But when I am doing the Pot Lunch thing, I do My own Chicken Casserole recipe, if you wish I will sent it to you.
Mikieee, yours is Monday and mine is Thursday, soooooo you must be 3 days older, hu. Big Grin There are two ladies at work whos are Tuesday, and Wednesday, if we find someone whos is Friday, We can PARTTTTTTTTYYYYYYY all week long.
Well Miss Tommie is ready to go out, so I better close for now. And Mike, I haven't charged the Cart yet, so I get to push her around. (In her chair, of course.) Will start charging it when we come back, since I am working late tomorrow and she will want to go out in the morning time.

Happy birthday to the men of the BBC (2 of U anyway). You live too far away for birthday spankings and there's nothing I can do about it. But, you're also a lot older than me and there's nothing you can do about it (ha, ha, ha)!

Snickers - like the new handle. Conga-rats on such a fine name selection.

Good to be home. Went up to Omaha, with a friend, to help get my girlfriend's 5 walnut trees trimmed (she's never done it). We busted our @$$es this weekend. Not sure I'll be able to move tomorrow, but was sure grateful I could move today so we could finish. Her yard looks much nicer now.

Well my supper just arrived (not saying what was delivered) so I'm going to eat while its hot and then crash for the night.

Thoughts and blessings to all. Hope you had a nice weekend.

Mike,

Wishing you the happiest birthday you can possibly have with your work schedule as is. Hope you at least get to relax and have a great dinner! However, I think I'll just stay out of the birthday spanking discussion Wink.

Your and Lloyd's birthdays are easy for me to remember....my brother's B-Day is tomorrow and my sister's is Thursday, the 20th.

Nicki, I mean Snickers, like your new handle.

Joanie - hope you are hanging in there and you and your family are doing well. I was a little concerned since we haven't heard from you and missed you in chat last week. Frowner

My thoughts and prayers continue to go out to those in need.

Mike, Does Bonnie know that you are asking for birthday spankings??? Wink You're such a nut!! I hope tomorrow will be joyous for you even though you have to work. Frowner Try to behave yourself tomorrow, but if you absolutely can't then go WILD!!! Big Grin If you traveled to KC MO, you wouldn't be too far from me, probably 5 hours or so. But I believe I will have to pass on the spanking. I don't spank married men!!! Wink

Lloyd, Have you recharged Miss Tommies go cart yet??? So you're going to be a birthday boy this week too. Are you going to be asking for b-day whoopings as well?? Roll Eyes As for my laugh...well lets say that if I really get to laughing I snort!!! LOL Red Face Believe it or not there have been a couple of times that I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe and I passed out for a few seconds. I never have wet my pants though from a good hardy laugh.

Has anyone heard from Dee?? I haven't seen her on lately. I hope she is ok.

I haven't seen Joanie on for a while either. But then Mike said she was having sinus trouble. I tried to call her a couple of times but no success. Miss Joanie I hope you're ok and I PM'D the letter we discussed.

Deb, I hope you are able to move tomorrow too! Big Grin Sound like you got a lot accomplished. You're such a hard worker and your always helping out someone. Smiler Hope you enjoyed your pizza.

Mindy, I would love to get together and chat sometime, now that your able to get into the CCOA chatroom. I am looking forward to it. Big Grin

Alix, are you out there??? Hope your doing well too.

Debby, I hope your getting better by the day. Hang in there.

Bitsy, any word about your cousins children yet? Hang in there sweetie. I know that you are extremly worried.

Margie, thanks for letting Debby know that we had some get well wishes for her on here. How are you and Mark doing after the hurricane scare?

I know that I have probably left someone out by mistake, but I wish you all well.
Take care and have a good week. Big Grin

Ps. I'm posting this a bit after I wrote it. I just happened to see that a lot of our members are on right now. It's little after 2 am here (central time) and a couple of others are on eastern time. I guess we're all a bunch of night owls. LOL Roll Eyes

This is going to be a real quick post since it is soooo late.... couldn't sleep so catching up.

I am fine, don't ya'll worry about ole Joanie... it is my job to worry about ya'll.

Sage called me tonight to check on me, Nicki tried to, but I was gone and Mike called me the other day..... ya'll nuts!!!! Sage and I talked half the night. LOL She marveled at my Southern accent and I adored her young, sweet voice. We had a wonderfully meaningful chat tonight..... yea right...we talked trash most of the time. Just kidding Sage, I loved our visit.

Mike, Happy Birthday Baby Boy..... I'll spank you. That will be 30 whacks with a wet noodle. LOL Oh and yes the old sinuses are better, thank you!!!

Nicki, go to bed!!!!! Hehehe

Mindy, I am doing great Sweetie. But I do appreciate your prays and support.

Has anyone heard anything recently about Debby?

Love to all I missed. Will catch up later.

Love ya'll,
Joanie

Yikes Mike! What have I started? I let everyone in on your birthday! So feel special, birthday boy! You work just as much as my husband. But better to have work than nothing at all. Huh?

Joanie,
How's everything going for you? How are you feeling? How's Charlie liking his job? I'm thinking of you.

Bitsy,
Keep your hopes up on the kids. God is watching over them; have faith. I continue to pray.

Lloyd,
Happy Birthday to you! Enjoy your day.

Hope everyone is doing okay. The weather here, today, was absolutely gorgeous.... so warm. I must say fall is one of my most favorite times of the year. The colors of the leaves here in the mountains can be just breath taking.

Mike, I told you Happy Birthday, but I can't remember if I told Lloyd, so here goes.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY LLOYD!!!!!

Dina, I am better, thank you. I appreciate your asking and your prayers. How are you and your family?

Earl, don't you think a man in tights is sexy....just look at Errol Flynn in Robinhood? Hehehehe

Dee, girl, how you feeling? How is the pain. I hope some better.

Alix, Honey, sorry you keep getting those darn viruses.....

Well talk with ya'll later. Be good.

Well. I pulled an angry tick off of my arm on Monday. Today I woke up with a nice red, round rash on my arm. Tommorow I go to the doctor who will probably put me on antibiotics because I cannot afford to risk anymoe orthopedic problems.

I think it bit me when I went to the mailbox in the afternoon, but it was so small I could eaily have missed it. It was a little tick.

MIke you only have 13 more days to pick on me. You haven't picked on me much, did you run out of material?? Smiler

Alix, I hear ya on the pesky computer problems, girl. The only reason I am on a lot lately is that I am staying with my sister, so I am using her computer.

Dee, Yikes about the tick. You said that it was angry. So was the tick ticked??? HEHEHEHEHE. Roll Eyes I know that was lame, but I couldn;t help it.

Sage it was good chatting with you again tonight. Big Grin

I want to post more but I have to get up early and go to appts. Hopefully I can get some sleep.

Have a good week and take care.

Just a short post to say hello to all and let you know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

The weekend may be a different story depending on Wilma, but for now it's too nice of a day to stay inside. Fall has finally arrived to SE Florida so I want to make the most of my day off (and I DON'T intend to do any yardwork today).

Dee, make sure you keep your appointment with the doc, tick bites can be very serious.

Lloyd, I say go for it. Since I don't live near any of you, I won't have to suffer Razzer.

Dee,
Recently I was bitten on the side of my face by a tick. I have deer eating the plants on my front porch and yard almost every night (the backyard is deer fenced). I was lucky. . .no rash but the spot did itch for weeks.

Speaking of itching. . my husband wears kilt-unders beneath his kilt but not because of the breeze. Kilts are made of wool, I need say no more WinkYUM

Yeah, Mike, it was. We are crawling with deer since there is an old apple orchard across the street; it still produces lots of apples which the deer love. I think that tick bit me when I went to get the mail.

Now I am going to wear long sleeves when I go outside.

Lloyd,

HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you! Make the most of your day and ENJOY!!! I'm not current on fashion, but I think the wrinkled look is out, so you may want to pass on sharing your look with the masses.

For the longest time I couldn't get into chat from either 'go' in the BB section or by trying to access from the home page.

Recently when Sage posted about it I tried again and wasn't able to access from BB pages, but was able to get in from the home page. Go figure, but now I am able to get in through either location. Have you tried accessing from both? ...but then again, chatting with you this morning knowing you're in your BDay suit Eeker

Been reading pages 9 and 10 and am still laughing - almost to the point of tears. According to a Scottish friend of mine - real men go commando in a kilt, but he won't say one way or the other what he does. He says if you want to know what they wear, you have to reach up under and find out for yourself.

yes Mike if you come down to KC I'll give you b-day spankings if you really want them. Lets just make sure we have Bonnie's permission. Heck, bring her along I might need a supervisor just in case I'm not whacking hard enough or something. Better yet, she and I could take turns with the swats.

You too Lloyd. Just recommend layering your clothing...birthday suits are ssoooo thin that b-day spanking might actually hurt. The wrinkles in your suit are from your weight loss. Like my step-mom says...losing weight is what causes wrinkles and stretch marks, its being fat that makes your skin look good. Fear not Lloyd - we love ya anyway. With all that Texas heat and extra skin, maybe you could grease yourself up and hang out in the sun until your skin pops like a Texas-sized pork rind.

Recovered from the weekend's work, much better than I did from that pizza. My joints were killing me when I woke up Monday, so I tossed out all the leftover pizza. Just not worth feeling that bad. I'll start leaving myself leftovers in the freezer for nuking. As much as I hate microwaves, its better than crippling myself with junk food.

Got lucky and had lazy day today, just training my Mom with her new cell phone. Think she's got the hang of things now. I added her to my plan (no I'm not interested in adding anyone else unless they can make it REALLY interesting for me), so she can get help if she needs it and can call home when she gets lonely while working her craft show (Oct 30-Dec 24) in St Louis.

Get to stay home this weekend, for a change. Think I'll try to finish my refinishing project and get that cabinet up into the kitchen where it belongs. Lord knows I've taken my sweet time getting it done. Just want to make a trip for new hinges and pulls. Have a special store here that sells nothing else and I look forward to any excuse to go in there and shop...they have some really cool stuff.

Contemplating thawing out a buffalo roast so I can braise it in wine this weekend. Maybe someone will come over and join me for a meal, otherwise I'll be eating this thing for at least a week!
