DL...the warm feeling is alright but the fuzzy feeling you should see a doctor about that. They may have some meds to take care of it.

Hello family, well I got Miss Tommie back home from visting with the kids and not spending as much time at work this week. For DL, I hope that warm and fuzzy feeling isn't because you lay down on the cat. My son's cat Shadow has a bad habit of getting under the covers and since we don't have a pet, I will lay down with out looking and ---- well it ain't hard to figure the rest, one of these days she is going to move too slow. Yesterday I had to teach two classes back to back so I am still a little tired so I am going to bed. will chat later.

Good to see you back on the board again, Lloyd. I hope you and Ms. Tommie are doing well and not losing your touch with spoiling the GKs.
I know with work that you don't get a chance to join in as much anymore, so it is nice to see you post when you do get a chance. ....but I can't help wondering about the timing. Did Mike send out a plea for other members of the BBC to come in and help him handle the BGC?
I am proud of our newest member DL, and can't wait for Snickers to rejoin us so we can REALLY launch an attack on the BBC .
I'm really needing this diversion at this time family, so I can't thank you enough for making me laugh when I want to do otherwise. {{{{HUGS}}}}. My extended family is wonderful for the soul, and once again you have me smiling!

Lloyd...you must get in here more often. We all miss you and there are some new members that don't know you. Hug Miss Tommie for me.
DL...I think you need to see a different doctor.
Mindy...what can I say to you. I remember not to long ago you wanted to take a leave from your extended family. I'm glad that you decided to stick around.

Gee, just when things are nice and quiet. . .I've been kind of busy having to do my job and my bosses job-maybe I do need the distraction. My only request is the BGC can't have any help from the frying pan!!
Hi, DL welcome to the family.

Don't worry Lloyd, we don't need CI skillets to deal with you gentlemen...
It is common knowledge (though maybe not to men) that women are smarter. We need only to use our brains and wit in this game. So don't be concerned...you won't have any goose eggs on the ole noggin from a skillet. LOL

Lloyd, I may be the Keeper of the Cast Iron, but I've kind of been neglecting them lately. I've been spending most of my outdoor cooking time using my smoker and my new stainless steel grill. I reckon I ought to get the DO's out and get to using them if I'm going to compete in cook-offs this summer.

Glad to see that the BBC is back together.
As far as women being smarter. The men learned long ago to act stupid around women so they don't feel so bad about the way they are. (did I step on a lot of toes?)
Earl...you better be getting back into form for the cook-offs. We are all behind ya.

you are, women are warm loving and gracious and we take very good care of those we love, be they sick hungry lost or confused it is an on going gift of love and we love doing it. why do you think God took a bone from Adam? He wanted us strong as a man can be, but he knew we would take care of all things close to our hearts and do it lovingly and continuously and don't forget unconditionally DL

Three (3) Blondes in a Bar
3 Blonds went into a bar for a drink after work. The saw a magic lamp sitting there. They asked the bartender about it. He said for $1.00 they can rub the lamp.
So the 1st blond paid her $1.00, rubbed the lamp and a genie popped out and said “I’ll give you one wish, what do you wish for?†The blond said “I’d like to be twice as smart as I am right now†the genie said “OK†and poof she was a brunette.
The 2nd blond paid her $1.00, rubbed the lamp and the genie popped out. She told the genie “I want to be 3 times smarter than I am right now. Poof she became a flaming red-head.
The 3rd blond paid her $1.00, rubbed the lamp and the genie popped out. She told the genie “I want to be 4 time dumber than I am right nowâ€
The genie looked at her and said “are you sure about this?†The blond replied “yes†The genie said “OKAY†and poof she was A MAN

Just a quick hi to all. I've been busy playing nurse to my teenager who has been sick all week with a wicked virus. He still can't eat solid foods. I made him a malted milk for dinner tonight.
I sure hope his throat feels better soon. The PA did a bunch of tests and everything was negative.

Gee Whiz Dee, I have finally gotten my Kid on the mend now we've got to get yours headed in the same direction:-) In all seriousness all of those negative results means that they didn't check everything. Docs get a little testy when you question their results, sometimes they can't see the obvious because of all of the trees in the way. Tell them to look again, maybe they missed something. God Bless and try to put a smile on.

I guess that's better than the man that wanted to be a real stud and ended up between the walls as a 2X4!
Dee, I hope that your son gets to feeling well. If you have a good relationship with the Doctor, have him/her runs some tests. PA are good and they have their place in health care but they can overlook some tests and may not be aware of other screenings that are available.

Good News,
My Son was released from the Hospital at 6:30 last night(Sunday) after almost two weeks of nothing but bad news or so it seemed. He will be at home for about two weeks before he can return to work. It has been quite a dry spell for him, no pay and I don't know about his insurance, probably will never know as I won't ask as it really isn't any of my business. Now we have to get Dee's Son well and back on his feet. Neighbor next door lost a grandchild last Tuesday, it was delivered dead and the whole family is just devestated. It was due to be born just after Easter and was the first child of the couple involved. I'm just a bundle of good news aren't I? Everybody please try and have a good day today and thank God for all of your blessings.

Chuck,
I am glad to hear that your son is home now. I'm sorry about your neighbor's child. It is so sad when an infant dies. My sympathies to the family.
My son returned to school today, but he is still fatigued. I'm asking the doctor to do more blood tests; I think he may have mono again.

I am very happy to home after a trip to Orlando this weekend to attend my Aunt & Uncle's 60th Anniversary celebration.
I have decided that traveling is getting more difficult as I get older and I am to the point I don't even want to leave the comforts of home!
Orlando is further inland than where I live and since our hotel was surrounded by a wooded area I had two days of not being able to breathe because of allergies and sinus problems. Add to that my 55 minute flight home which ended up being a 2 hour, 45 minute flight due to plane and weather problems...now you know why I just want to stay home in the future!
On a good note, I finally attended a Cirque du Soleil show, something I have been wanting to see live for over 6 years. It was awesome, though I noticed that the show they hold at Disney was not the same style as I've seen on TV. On the televised shows they were more into doing contortion things where they would be bent over backwards, etc. I don't know that I noticed any of that done in this particular show, but I still enjoyed it so much that I would have paid again to see it Saturday night if I didn't have to attend the anniversary party.
In spite of not being able to breath and it taking so long to get home, the Cirque du Soleil show I treated myself to and seeing family (some I haven't seen in years) made it a worthwhile trip. But...I am GLAD TO BE HOME!!

Hello Family all is well down here,it is one of those busy weeks for me. Four 12 hours teaching days and they threw a 8 hour one in yesterday since they didn't have anyone else to teach it. I am loving it. I know, before any of the family says it, I am taking care of myself too. And Mike, (Mr. B.) won't let me teach any of the Physical class because he is afraid I could get hurt and would be out of the classroom. (I don't even do Field work, anymore than necessary.) Things are really looking up for our company right now.

Hope this finds everyone and their families doing well this morning.
Lloyd, good to see you slipping in to post more often. You finally figure out your better off to do that than have a bunch of members clogging your email looking for you? LOL.
Wishing everyone a great day, and hope those of you in the north start to see signs of Spring, soon!

Glad you are back, Mindy! I can sympathize with you on the allergies...been down all last week with that...pass the tissues! And the flying? Well, we can't fly any more because of the altitudes, my sinuses can't tolerate that either, so IF we can't drive, we don't go! But, at least you are now back home and thankful you went...know your Aunt and Uncle were delighted that you could make their "60"th. THAT'S A LONG TIME to put up w/one fella!
