“It was very simple to operate. I have the bigger bulk sealers, and it’s very hard to get all the air out and seal. The Vacu-Seal was great. I had no problems getting it to seal or getting all the air out.”

“I’ve been thinking about getting a sealer for a long time, but I didn’t want to spend a lot of money. The Vacu-Seal is great. It’s easy to use and is just as good, if not better, than the bigger sealers.”

“This Vacu-Seal is great. I love to buy meats in bulk and freeze them for future use, and this product really came in handy. There was no freezer burn. I also love that the bags are reusable (except if used for raw meat), which makes the Vacu-Seal environmentally friendly!”

“The Vacu-Seal was very easy to use, and the instructions were simple and clear. Pricewise, it’s an excellent value, based on the price of similar products, which can run over $100

“This product is good for increasing the space for dry goods in cabinets and for keeping foods fresher in the freezer. It’s a lifesaver for those leftover foods.”

“This is an excellent product. My only concern is that sometimes the bags aren’t quite big enough, and I found I had to split my food item into two bags. Otherwise, this is a very user-friendly, easy-to-use product.”

I have to say I love this and it keeps food noticably fresher in the freezer. My only complaint would be the bags need to be larger.

I have use the Seal-A-Meal for years. This seems to be the "new generation" of sealing meats, fruits, etc. Would love to try it out.

I need to say that have used this product for the last six months and have found a decidedly difference in my grocery bill. I no longer have to replace freezer burned meat. I love buying in bulk and then repackaging to save money. This product allos me to do just that and still have the item good to use at a later date. No worry about losing due to freezer burn. My only complaint is they cannot be washing and reused. Otherwise it is a fantastic prouct.

My only complaint is it seems to go through a lot of batteries. A rechargable version would be a vast improvement. The gallon bags are allso a bit hard to seal compared to the quart size.

Bad purchase
I bought one of these and it is a piece of junk. It takes forever to get the seal just right so that the device vacuums out the air. Also, the bags don't always hold a seal, so they are full of air again in a short time. - don't waste your money on this - sounds good, but is not!! I bought a 'Seal-A-Meal' and get much better results much quicker.

For smaller items I found it to work well. I use it for cheese, onions, and even small portions of meat in the freezer. It's easy and small enough to keep in a drawer.

I bought this last summer, and at first it was great. Within about a month, maybe 30 quart sized bags, the suction was gone. I kept trying it but, I finally tossed it in November.

Reynolds VS. Glad
I tried a test between Reynolds and the Glad Vacu Bags, I found that the vacuseal bags from Reynolds worked so much better. The glad bags vacuumed out but over time it let air back in so by the time you get ready to use it air has gotten back in. but the reynolds did not leak whatsoever.

Vacu Seal
I brought the Reynolds vacu seal and I love it. We have a deep freezer and do food shopping monthly. We break the meats down to serving size. What is really nice is if you need to take just a small portion out, you can then reseal the bag. We have saved alot of money using this. And yes I did have a seal a meal which I gave away since I brought the reynolds.

We have had this product in our home for the past year. We use it mainly for travel. You can vacumn seal your clothes in the gallon size bags to make them waterproof and to fit better in your suitcase. With the vacumn unit being so small and portable it fits nicely into the trunk of our motorcycle so we can reseal the bags after opening. Vacu-Seal is not just for food!

vaccu seal
I am a life member and every time I sign on and go to vaccu seal site to order...it says my account is suspended. CCOA says it is all fixed. Well let me tell you it's not. What good is it to pay money for a site I can't use. It's very frustrating. I am happy for those of you that were able to access it and get your vaccu seal. I am sure it is nice.

Reynolds Handi-Vac
I was very disappointed in the VaccuSeal that I got for $10 at Walmart. BJ's had a demo on Reynolds & for $20 you got 27 gallon bags & 10 quart with the battery operated "sucker". Wash the bags when empty. Reuse. So I bought 2 sets, and we have rechargeable batteries so I am set.......... Great compared to rhe $165 vacuum sealer & their expensive bags in a roll that is cut by the machine that remvoes the air.

Vacu-seal
I bought this at Wal-Mart last year and initially thought it was difficult to seal but then I realized that I was pushing too hard. The machine requires a light touch to seal the bag. There has to be air between the package at the seal for it to work. I have used the quart and the gallon bags. Most items will fit in either of these sizes. I use it quite often but do occasionally still pull out my large sealer for big quantities of meat. I also use it to infuse my marinades into meat when I don't have a lot of time to let the meat marinate. It works great for that.

Vaccu Seal
I love this product. I used to have the expensive vacuum sealer and when it stopped working I thought I'd have to throw away all those canisters I bought. But to my surprise, I can use the vaccu seal on the smoky gray canisters that have the little vacuum seal hole on the lid. It seals perfectly!

What a Great Item
to package chicken, steaks, ground round, in gallon size that shrink into a freeze free package. Italian sausage in 4's are great in the quart size to open to put in the panini machine to cook in 5 minutes. Then to take a ail brush & dish soap to lather the package on both sides to reuse again.

Bought one of these last year and ended up taking it back in just a few days. It didn't work for me at all. Maybe I just got a bad one or something, but it was really disappointing.

Vacu Seal - Reynolds
I have been using the more expensive models and love them, but when I decided to travel a bit in our motorhome, I was looking for something more compact and portable. I have tried a couple different makes. This one is definately the best. For camping and for people who want to keep it simple and easy. This one is the ticket. I would give it a top rating.

I bought the Reynolds version and I really love it. I even gave one to my girl friend for her Bridal Shower and now I went to buy one to give to my brother and his wife for their new home and I can't get it or the bags. Is it being discontinued? And will the same thing happen with the one you are showing?
