PROS
Even Heating Well made Durable Nonstick Large Capacity Helper handles on both sides

CONS
Cost prohibitive to acquire

OVERALL
This is an EXCELLENT product. It heats evenly, food gets done through and through and it's a very durable, heavy duty item that will probably outlast generations to come and be passed down.

PROS
I received my first Le Creuset as a gift, but I will purchase additional items for myself. Cooks evenly, beautiful design to go from oven to table, and cleans up very easily. The 3 1/2 qt french oven is most versatile in size and shape.

CONS

OVERALL
Yes, it is a bit more expensive than other cookware, but I feel it is worth the extra price because of the high quality. I have made Beef Burgundy and Indian Hot Pot and both turned out exceptionally well.

PROS
This pot performs well on top of the stove as well as in the oven. I purchased one pot and then could not help it, I just had to have another. It is expensive, but worth the money. Will last for years. It was easy to clean too.

CONS
It is heavy, especially when it is filled.

OVERALL
I highly recommend this pot. It holds heat evenly so it cooks your food to perfection.

PROS
Mostly everything: Beautiful, as is most Le creuset; durable (no disgusting Teflon flakes or warped bottoms); retains heat very well. T The company also actually honors their lifetime warranty and aren't persnickety about the conditions in which you used your pot- they'll just replace it no questions asked in the unlikely event you damage it. (Presumably by putting it on the railroad tracks or forging steel in it.)

CONS
Nothing truly negative, only two things requiring an adjustment for some: heavy, if you've been raised on cheap pans, and not completely nonstick (again, if you've been used to cheap pans.)

OVERALL
Yes, it is expensive, but no more so than other truly great cookware (have you priced Demeyere or Mauviel lately?) There is nothing more attractive in the kitchen or that retains its resale value like this stuff.

PROS
This is by far the best purchase I've ever made! I purchased the 7.25qt. pot several years ago and love it to this day. The enamel coating on this cast iron pot offers quick and easy cleaning. No rust, no sticking...highly recommended! Cast iron offers great heat and even cooking.

CONS
Sure it's expensive, but it will last you a lifetime! I've since purchased one for my mother and sister. This pot is HEAVY!

OVERALL
I grew up watching my Mother cook homemade spaghetti sauce and chili in an old enamel coated cast iron pot from Norway or Sweden. She received this pot as a wedding gift in 1962. It was always a dream of mine to find a pot just like hers. She still has that pot....the handles have broken off but she still uses it to this day.....but only when she has 2 things going at one time....she prefers to use the Le Creuset I bought her....as long as my Father is around to take it off the stove. This is one heavy pot when it's loaded up with sauce.

PROS
Wonderful for soups, braised meats and stews. I have a 3 quart and 7 quart size. I love the way I can start recipes on the stovetop and transfer to the oven to finish for several hours to cook or keep warm. Durable finish. Generally easy to clean though there are special products for stains that may develop over time. Wonderfully even heat without hotspots.

CONS
Care should be taken to not chip the finish, although that is somewhat difficult to do. Should not use harsh abrasives. I am glad they got away from the wooden handles as I burned one up once.

OVERALL
Outstanding kitchen to table ware, durable and beautiful. Will become a family heirloom and last generations.

PROS
It is perfect for cooking just about everything. While I had it I used it constantly.

CONS
Recieved my Le Creuset French Oven as a tester and loved it until it shattered on my electric stove top one day. It had never been dropped, so I don't know what happened.

OVERALL
Loved it - wish I could afford to buy a new one - maybe with the economic insentive check??

PROS
Very attractive; cooks like a dream (stove top OR oven); the best covered casserole you will ever use; easy clean-up

CONS
Heavy even when empty; rather pricey (however, it is worth every penny!)

OVERALL
IF you don't have one of these, put it on your "wish list" and drop some heavy duty hints that this is what you REALLY want. You will NOT be disappointed!

Cooks all types of food well. Cooks very even and can go from cook top to oven.

CONS
It's a little heavy because its cast iron and is a little expensie but is a good investment.

OVERALL
I have had this piece as well as other pieces of Le Creuset cookware for over 10 years and would not replace it with anything else. I learned about it from my grandmother and wouldn't trade them for anything. It would make a great investment for anyone interested in making a new cookware purchase.

I own several pieces of Le Cruset...They keep their looks forever. The warranty on it makes it great! I have used it on my cooktop, in the oven and into the dishwasher. The color has not faded and well worth presentation at the table.

CONS
A bit heavy.

We found our Le Cruset on sale! Couldn't pass it up. It cooks like a dream both in the oven and on the stove. Our made from scratch spaghetti sauce cooks perfectly. It will go to my daughter when I'm done with it...whenever that will be!

CONS
It is very heavy. I'm glad I lift weights. Elderly folks will have a problem with it. We opted not to get one for my mother in law.

OVERALL
Love the colors!!
